Why choose CWL Miami?

Its quite simple, we offer the best course in South Florida. Don't take our word on it, click to read the testimonials offered by past students or call around and ask the competition these questions and see how they measure up.

  • What's covered? -- Our CWL (Concealed Weapons License) class is really an introductory defensive pistol class. Not only do we go over the laws governing the CWL and use of force like all other instructors, but we take it much further by discussing, demonstrating and having our students participate in firearm related self-defense scenarios. Just because you have been shooting for years and don't believe you need the "more advanced class" don't cheat yourself from learning techniques that can save your life, especially when the costs are almost identical.
  • What's the class length? -- All our courses are at least 5-6 hours long. Don't be fooled by a course that offers to teach you "everything you need" in an hour and a half, its not possible. A short course will only leave you unprepared to defend your life and the life of your loved ones.
  • How much range time? -- All of our courses offer at least an hour at the range with a certified instructor. Florida Law requires you to take a course where you demonstrate the "safe handling and discharge of a firearm". "Gun Show" and "Gun Shop" classes resort to using airsoft or powderless ammunition to illegally give the illusion the state requirements are being met. These classes do not fulfill the states requirement for receiving a CWL.
  • What's the round count? -- All of our courses have a 50 round minimum with 100 rounds being the average round count. Most of our competitors have you fire 1-5 rounds and their instructors don't spend the time needed to help a student improve their shooting skills.
  • What loaner gun / caliber is offered? -- Not only is our round count higher but we refuse to use tiny calibers like the .22 our competitors do. We offer our students a large selection of revolvers and semi-autos in calibers no less then 9mm to use in our classes at no additional charge. Students who don't yet own a gun get to try different firearms so they can test them before they decide to buy.
